Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of Sadaqah Syndicate. By creating an account or making a pledge, you agree to these terms.

Last updated: 8 July 2026

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and Sadaqah Syndicate governing your access to and use of our website, app and services. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use Sadaqah Syndicate. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account.

3. How pledges work

When you set a monthly pledge, you authorise us to collect that amount on a recurring basis until you change or cancel it. You decide how to spread each month's pledge across the live syndicates you choose to support, subject to a small minimum per syndicate, and you can rebalance that split at any time.

Your contribution is disbursed to the verified charity partners behind the syndicates you have backed. You can change, pause or cancel your pledge at any time from your account; changes take effect from your next billing cycle.

4. Platform funding

100% of your pledge goes to the syndicates you back. The platform is funded by optional gifts you may choose to add at checkout. These optional gifts are never deducted from your sadaqah and are always clearly itemised.

5. Charity partners and causes

We select and vet charity partners through a due-diligence and Shariah-review process, but Sadaqah Syndicate is a giving platform, not the charity itself. The delivery of aid is carried out by our partners in accordance with their own programmes and governance.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.

7. Liability

The service is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time and will notify you of material changes. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

These policies are provided in good faith and kept under review; they are a plain-English summary and do not constitute legal advice. Questions? Email hello@sadaqahsyndicate.com.
